This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the GoGreen mobile application (the "GoGreen App"), any websites operated by GoGreen (including (the "GoGreen Websites"), and the services we provide that are accessible through any of them (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy outlines how we store and process any personal data we collect from you or that you provide to us. Please note that you must be 13 years of age or older to use the Services. If you are under 13, please refrain from using the Services or providing us with any personal information.

Information we may collect from you

At times, we may collect or request personal information from you, including (but not limited to) the following: your name, mobile phone number, email address, password, IP address, unique device identifiers, other identifying credentials, biographical details, photographs, and/or payment information.

As part of the Services, we may offer functionality that allows you to search for friends using your Facebook credentials. If you choose to utilise this feature, you will be prompted to grant the GoGreen application access to certain information associated with your Facebook account, such as your name, profile picture, gender, and friends list. With your consent, we will process this information to identify your Facebook friends who are also users of the GoGreen application and enable you to invite them to install the GoGreen application.

Please note that, with your consent, we may collect information about your location and physical movements to ensure the proper functioning of the GoGreen application and to monitor and verify eligible forms of movement. You have the ability to enable or disable location monitoring through your mobile device's operating system settings. Disabling this functionality will prevent us from collecting information related to your step count and GPS/Cellular location ID, which may affect tracking and/or conversion of your movement into GoGreen coins (GG).

We occasionally work with third parties (including business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment, and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, and credit reference agencies) who may provide us with information about you. This may include your purchase history from business partners offering rewards through the GoGreen app.

Uses made of your personal data

We may utilise your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Providing the Services using our own systems and those of appropriate third-party service providers- Verifying your physical movement and location to issue GG coins based on verified data

  • Analysing usage patterns and improving the Services

  • Creating daily user league tables based on step count or other criteria

The developer may request permission to access and write health data from the health app. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising purposes and will not sell HealthKit data.

Additionally, we or our trusted partners may contact you from time to time with offers that may interest you or to inform you about other products and services. Some of your personal data may be shared with other users of the GoGreen App as part of the Services' normal operation. For example, your uploaded profile picture and biographical information will be accessible to all users. We may also publish your total verified steps or other movements during a specific period to other users. Furthermore, if we expand or reduce our business, certain divisions or assets may be transferred to other parties, and the data we store and use may be transferred to such third parties. In such cases, the information is only transferred to entities that comply with this policy and applicable law.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary. We take reasonable industry-standard measures to ensure the security of our data and prevent unauthorised access or unlawful use. All personal data we store and process is handled strictly in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.


We use cookies to distinguish you from other users of the GoGreen App and websites and to gather certain information about your usage and behaviour. A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we place on your computer when you use the GoGreen application or browse the websites. This enables us to provide you with a better experience and improve the Services. We utilise both persistent cookies, which may remain on your device until they expire (up to 10 years in some cases), and session cookies, which are temporary files deleted from your device when you close your browser.

Your rights

  1. You have the right to opt out of the processing of your personal information for marketing purposes. To exercise this right and prevent such processing, click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of our marketing emails or send an email to with the subject line "unsubscribe."
  2. You have the right to update the personal information we hold about you. To exercise this right, access your account information in our application (Open GoGreen application -> Your account screen -> Edit on Android or Pencil icon on iPhone -> Change your details -> Save).

  4. You have the right to delete your account and any personal information associated with it. To exercise this right, delete your GoGreen account and the attached personal information by following the account deletion process in the Help section of the GoGreen application (Open the GoGreen application -> Your account screen -> Settings -> Help -> Contact us -> Choose your problem = Delete account).

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on the GoGreen App and websites and may be communicated to you via email. Please check the Privacy Policy available on the GoGreen App and websites periodically. By continuing to use the GoGreen App or websites, you agree to any relevant changes.

Section 1: Scope of Application

  1. Parties: Grow Your Impact SL, a company registered under registry code B13749502, having its registered address at C/ Roc Boronat 138, Residents Area Tallers - UPF, 08013 Barcelona, Spain, and operating under the commercial name GoGreen (referred to as "we" or "GoGreen"), has developed a mobile application named GoGreen (referred to as the "App"). By using the App or any other content services provided by GoGreen through the App or website (collectively referred to as the "Service"), you (referred to as "you" or the "user") agree to fully accept and abide by these terms and conditions (referred to as the "Terms and Conditions"), which also include the Privacy Policy. The Terms and Conditions govern your use of the App, the Service, and establish the legal relationship between you and GoGreen.
  2. Third-Party Services: By opting to make use of external services provided by third parties, referred to as "Third-Party Services," through our App or any other Service, you acknowledge and accept that you will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the respective third party upon initiating the use of the Third-Party Service. We strongly recommend carefully reviewing the terms and conditions associated with any Third-Party Service before engaging with it.

Section 2: Registration

  1. Account Creation: In order to avail yourself of the Service, it is necessary to create an account within the App. As part of the registration procedure, you will be prompted to choose a username and password. By engaging the "register" or a similar function (herein referred to as "buttons," denoting interactive elements within the Service that initiate specific actions, including those with legal consequences), you explicitly consent to the current Terms and Conditions, which encompass the Privacy Policy, applicable at the time of your registration.
  2. Eligibility: You are eligible to register only if you possess the legal capacity to enter into contracts without any limitations. This entails being of legal age, in a sober state, and having the ability to independently acquire rights and undertake obligations. We operate under the assumption that your registration is a voluntary act, devoid of coercion, deceit, or misconception.
  3. Minors: If you do not have the legal capacity to enter into contracts without restrictions, such as being a minor, you may only register with the explicit written consent of your legal representative (e.g., parents, guardian, caretaker, etc.).
  4. Account Deletion: We retain the right to delete your account if there are reasonable grounds to believe that you do not possess the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
  5. Single Account: Maintaining multiple accounts concurrently is not permitted. If you register multiple times and possess multiple accounts simultaneously, we will delete all but the oldest account. Alternatively, we reserve the right to delete all of your accounts and prohibit your use of the Service.
  6. Use of False Information: Registering an account using another user's identity or providing false information is strictly prohibited.
  7. Account Security: It is essential to maintain the security of your account information and refrain from sharing it with others. All activities conducted through your account within the Service are presumed to be carried out personally by you, thereby establishing legal rights and responsibilities.
  8. Natural Persons Only: Registration is limited to natural persons. Legal entities are not permitted to utilize the Service, unless represented by authorized individuals.
  9. Registration Rejection: We reserve the right to reject your registration without disclosing the reasons for such rejection.
  10. Account Deletion: If your account remains inactive for a minimum period of six months or if we are unable to contact you using the provided email address, we reserve the right to delete your account. Additionally, we may delete your account without justification if there are grounds to believe that you are not utilizing the Service appropriately.

Section 3: GoGreen's Tokens

  1. Purpose of GGs: Our aim is to make sustainable journeys enjoyable, easy, and rewarding for you by providing added value and incentives. Through our Service, we offer interactive content in a gamified format, allowing you to participate and earn eco rewards for engaging in eco-conscious behaviours. These points, also referred to as GGs, serve as units of effort within the App: 1 GG represents 100 g of CO2 that were not generated.
  2. Purpose of digital trees (NFTrees): The purpose of a digital tree in GoGreen is to symbolise and track the environmental impact of users' eco-friendly actions within the platform. Each digital tree is unique and represents a certain level of positive environmental contribution, such as reducing carbon emissions or engaging in sustainable behaviours. They are a visual representation of their commitment to sustainability and their efforts to make a positive impact on the environment. The digital trees serve as a motivating factor and a tangible way for users to track their progress and contributions towards a greener world. Users can buy/sell and collect these digital trees. Digital trees reward active contributors with O2 tokens, the in-game unit of exchange.
  3. Purpose of O2s: O2 acts as an incentive for users to actively participate in eco-conscious actions and promotes a sense of achievement and progress towards a more sustainable lifestyle. O2 tokens are the unit of exchange that users can earn and utilise within the platform. Users can earn O2 by looking after digital trees (NFTrees). The accumulation of O2 allows users to unlock additional features, access exclusive content, or redeem rewards offered within the GoGreen ecosystem. O2 might also be used for community voting in the future.
  4. GGs and Their Use: GGs are generated by users of the App through eco-friendly modes of transportation. They can be utilised to nurture and care for digital trees within the App, which will grow and generate rewards.
  5. GGs and O2s as Non-Financial Units: It is important to note that GGs and O2s are not considered currency, investment instruments, contractual obligations or securities. GGs solely represent records of the green trips or game-related actions you have undertaken. O2s are the unit of exchange inside the APP.
  6. Account Suspension or Disablement: We retain the authority to temporarily suspend or deactivate any user account that we suspect of earning rewards through actions that were not intended to trigger such rewards, without the option for recourse or appeal.
  7. Determination and Modification of Rewards: We maintain the absolute discretion to determine and modify, as we see fit and at any time, the eligible actions for earning rewards, the verification algorithms for trips, and the quantity of verified actions required to earn rewards through the App. While we strive to inform our users of any rule changes by providing notifications within the App, we cannot guarantee that you will find these notifications to be sufficient or convenient.
  8. Eligibility Criteria and Caps: The current eligibility criteria and the minimum number of verified actions needed to earn rewards are detailed in the User Guide section of the App. The verification of actions conducted by the App is considered final and can only be revised or overturned at the discretion of GoGreen.
  9. Daily Limits: The App allows users to generate or utilize a restricted amount of GGs on a daily basis. The specific limit may be subject to criteria set by us, and we retain the right to periodically adjust these limitations.
  10. Feedback and Suggestions: We welcome your feedback and suggestions to improve our Service and enhance the features of GGs. While we will make efforts to consider and incorporate your ideas, the final determination of implementation methods will be at our discretion.

Section 4: Intellectual Property

  1. Ownership of GoGreen IP: The Service, including the App, software, proprietary knowledge, copyrighted materials (such as texts, images, design, and data), trademarks, designs, and models, as well as any other forms of intellectual property, whether registered or unregistered (referred to as "GoGreen IP"), are developed and owned by us or used under limited license agreements.
  2. Usage Rights: You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-assignable, non-royalty-bearing, time-bound right to access the Service and utilize the GoGreen IP for its intended purpose, strictly in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or any separate written agreement with us.
  3. Restrictions on Use: You are prohibited from selling or transferring, either wholly or partially, your right to use the GoGreen Intellectual Property to any other individual or legal entity. Except as expressly authorised herein or by applicable law, you may not copy, modify, create derivative works, distribute, stream, disseminate, host, record, transcribe, interpret, extract, sublicense, reverse assemble, reverse engineer, or employ any malicious software or applications that may harm or compromise the GoGreen Intellectual Property or the App.
  4. Prior Written Permission: Without obtaining our prior written consent, you may not utilize the GoGreen IP for purposes such as publications, announcements, or referrals.
  5. User IP: You have the ability to showcase or employ your own software, expertise, copyrighted materials (such as texts, images, design), trademarks, designs, and models, or any other forms of intellectual property (referred to as "User IP") within the App. By downloading or creating any User-generated Content within the App, you grant us a limited, non-transferable, time-bound right to utilise the User IP for the purpose of delivering the Service to you or other users.
  6. Intellectual Property Infringement:You affirm that your User IP and its utilisation by GoGreen in connection with the provision of the Service will not violate the intellectual property rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any damages and expenses resulting from such infringement.

Section 5: Confidentiality and Security

  1. Data Protection: We prioritize the confidentiality and security of your data. To ensure the highest level of data protection, we employ cutting-edge encryption technologies. The collection, processing, and storage of your data are carried out in strict compliance with data privacy laws. Protection of Login Information: It is crucial to treat your login credentials, especially your password, as confidential information and take precautions to prevent unauthorized access by third parties. Under no circumstances should you grant any third party access to your account. Section 6: Trips Data

  1. Recording Personal Trips: Once you have successfully registered, you can commence documenting your personal journeys using the App. During this process, the App will collect data related to your journeys (referred to as "journeys data"). The App automatically analyzes the modes of transportation you employ, such as walking, cycling, driving, or utilizing public transportation such as subways or trains.
  2. Trip Data Analysis: The App generates statistical summaries based on your personal journeys data. These statistics provide insights into the types of transportation you have utilized, the percentage of time spent on each mode, as well as information on your CO2 emissions and environmental impact.
  3. Control over Recording: You have the freedom to initiate, pause, or terminate the capturing of your journey data at your discretion. The App gives you the possibility to determine the timing and duration of your journey data recording.

Section 7: Forbidden Use

  1. Compliance with Terms and Regulations: Throughout your utilization of the Service, it is imperative to adhere to the guiding principles outlined in these Terms and Conditions and comply with the prevailing legal regulations. Any actions that contradict these provisions or violate applicable laws are strictly forbidden. Specifically, the following activities are prohibited:
  • Providing inaccurate or misleading information.
  • Creating an account using someone else's identity.
  • Making false claims of authorization or endorsement from GoGreen.
  • Entering information or data related to another individual.
  • Sharing your login credentials and granting account access to others.
  • Manipulating, undermining, overloading, hacking, introducing viruses or malware, extracting data, or interfering in any manner with the Service, the App, or the underlying software and security measures.
  • Evading access restrictions.
  • Tampering with or falsifying information and trip data.
  • Engaging in disrespectful, hateful, unethical, or illegal behaviour, cyberbullying, or any form of harmful or deceptive conduct that hinders other users' enjoyment of the Services.
  • Installing and utilising the App on a mobile device designated for another individual's use without their consent.
  • Transferring your account to a third party.
  • Using the Service for surveillance purposes.
  1. Consequences of Forbidden Use: GoGreen retains the right, at its discretion, to temporarily or permanently suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to your account, or delete your account entirely, if there are reasonable grounds to suspect that you are engaging in unauthorized activities.
  2. Obligations for Partners: As a partner of GoGreen, it is strictly forbidden to engage in actions that mislead, deceive, humiliate, or cause disappointment or distress to our users. In the event of failure to meet your obligations towards our users, violations of agreements with us, or receipt of user or regulatory complaints, we may take actions such as account suspension, removal of your services from our App, termination of campaigns, or termination of agreements.

Section 8: Liability and Responsibility

  1. Indemnification: In the event that your actions or use of the Service result in claims from third parties, you agree to compensate GoGreen for any damages incurred. This includes covering the costs of necessary legal defense, including court fees and attorney fees at standard rates. If a third party utilizes the Service as described above, you are required to promptly and truthfully provide GoGreen with any relevant information to evaluate and address such claims.
  2. Tax Responsibility: It is your responsibility to comply with any applicable tax obligations related to your use of the Service and the accumulation of GGs. GoGreen is not your tax agent, representative, employer, or party responsible for calculating or settling your taxes.

Section 9: Liability of GoGreen

  1. Service "As Is": The Service is provided on an "as is" basis, without any explicit or implied warranties of any kind. This includes but is not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a specific purpose, or interoperability. While we strive to make the App and Service error-free, reliable, timely, accurate, rewarding, and enjoyable to use, we cannot guarantee that they will be perfect or meet all expectations.
  2. Limitation of Liability: Neither GoGreen nor any of its affiliated entities, directors, officers, employees, or agents will be held liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, arising from your use of the Service or App. This includes damages that were foreseeable or unforeseeable and is applicable under any theory of liability.
  3. Addiction and Safe Use: We cannot be held responsible if you develop an addiction to our Service or find it challenging to discontinue its use. We encourage you to use the Service responsibly and be mindful of your well-being and the environment. Please refrain from using the Service while engaged in activities that require your full attention, such as driving. We do not assume liability for any consequences resulting from such actions.
  4. No Investment Advice: We do not guarantee any income or investment returns, nor do we provide any investment advice or information.
  5. Partner Actions: While we strive to maintain positive relationships with our partners, we are not liable for their actions or the fulfillment of any obligations they may have.
  6. Discretionary Service Provision: We reserve the right to provide the App and offer the Service to users at our discretion, and there is no guarantee of registration for all users.
  7. No Public Offer: We want to clarify that we do not make any public offers of any kind. We do not guarantee savings or reductions in effort, nor do we guarantee your satisfaction with the Service. However, we strive to provide a secure and reliable service. Please note that there may be occasional interruptions due to technical errors or maintenance work.
  8. Changes and Ads: We reserve the right to make changes to the Service as we see fit, including the inclusion of advertisements or modifications to the rules of the game. We exclude any liability for damages resulting from the use of the Service. However, this exclusion does not apply in cases of personal injury, harm to life or health, intentional breaches of duty by GoGreen, or intentional breaches of duty by our legal representatives or agents.
  9. Third Party Services: It is important to note that GoGreen does not directly provide transportation or mobility services to end users. We are not responsible for conducting risk assessments or audits of any third-party services and therefore do not offer any guarantees or recommendations. When using third-party services, you do so at your own risk and expense. We are not liable for the quality of third-party services or any damages resulting from such services, regardless of the severity.
  10. Read Third Party Terms: We strongly recommend that you carefully review the terms and conditions of any third-party services before using them. It is important to familiarize yourself with the operation of any mobility options you choose and seek appropriate training if necessary. If you are underage or under the influence of substances, have mental or emotional conditions, or are unable to comprehend the consequences of your actions, please refrain from using any services or third-party services. We are not responsible for any damage to your belongings, health, or life, or to the belongings, health, or life of others, resulting from the use of any third-party service, even if it is powered by our technology, available through our apps, advertised as our partner, or otherwise offered or promoted through our Service.
  11. Applicability of Liability Limitation: The exclusion and/or limitation of liability of GoGreen also extends to its legal representatives and agents.

Section 10: Blockage, Deletion

  1. Data Deletion: You have the option to remove specific data pieces or delete your entire account whenever you wish. To do so, please reach out to us via email at or contact our support channels.
  2. Account Deletion and Termination: If you decide to delete your account or if GoGreen chooses to do so, the agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions will be automatically terminated. Upon account deletion, all the data we have stored about you will be deleted. If your data has been included in ongoing assessments of raw data sets, it will continue to be included in an anonymized format. However, your data will be removed from the live system and will not be used for future assessments.

Section 11: Miscellaneous

  1. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions are subject to Spanish law, excluding the provisions of the UN Sales Convention. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be settled by the competent courts in Spain, following the claim procedure. Prior to initiating legal proceedings, you must send a written claim to us via email at, providing supporting documents. If your claim remains unresolved for a period of 30 days from the date we receive it, you will have the right to submit the claim to a competent court.
  2. Changes to Terms and Conditions: GoGreen retains the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions, provided that the changes are not unreasonably unfavourable to the user. We will notify you of such changes via email at least four weeks before they become effective.
